Medium Paced Group Fund

The medium paced group now has a dedicated
support car, kindly provided by Harrison. It would be very useful if
we could have spare wheels in the vehicle so riders having a puncture
can be back on the road in a few seconds instead of stopping to fix
it. For this to work, we would need one front wheel and two back
wheels - Campag and Shimano. We also need a decent foot pump and some
tools to cover all eventualities. In addition, we would also like to
raise some money to buy some stock kit that can be sold as and when
people need it instead of waiting for 2 years between orders.....

We therefore need to raise some money to pay for this. The easiest way to
raise this money is to ask for everyone who rides with the group to
donate 100 AED to the fund. This isn't a great deal of money
considering the vehicle also provides safety cover behind all of our
rides. We don't want to make this too formal, all that we ask is that
everyone who rides with the group more than once makes the donation -
we won't chase people for the money, but we will know who hasn't
donated! So please help us by bringing you money along next time you
ride and give it to myself or Harrison. We will keep a spreadsheet and
let you know as and when we make purchases.
