Shipping from Wiggle.com

Does Wiggle ship to Abu Dhabi via DHL? My last Royal Mail shipment from CRC never arrived and I am sceptical about using that service again. (credit to CRC, they shipped out a replacement order via DHL at no cost to me - excellent service)

Hi Junaid. No they don't use DHL. I got a parcel from them last week - it is shipped from UK via Parcelforce and comes into Dubai for distribution. You then get a call from the Central Post Office that the parcel has arrived. When I went to pick it up, I had to register for customs (100 AED - this puts you on the system for future deliveries) and then pay 5% import tax. It took about 8 days from ordering to delivery.

I brought my CycleOps fluid trainer back from the US and the US customs opened the box, took the trainer apart and didn't put all the pieces back. I need the "L bolt" that holds the cam lever in place. It only costs 5 bucks, but the trainer is useless without it.

I used to get a fair bit of kit from Wiggle and used either Aramex shop & ship or later on had it sent to my AD post box.
Never had any problems or been charged tax, even returned a faulty light and got it back via the post.
Usualy takes 7 -10 days.
