I think it may be time to tighten my bottom bracket. Can anybody recommend a bike workshop in Abu Dhabi that you would trust to do this? My groupset and bottom backet are campagnolo.

Thanks, Jonathan

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
I have used the Canondale shop for a service and they seemed to do a good job. Nowhere near as thorough (or expensive) as Wolfie's, but I am sure a bottom bracket tightening will be fine. If you wait a couple of weeks, Aubs will be back and he will do it for free (sorry Aubs). The Canondale shop is on the right hand side of Airport Road, at the roundabout/lights at the very top, near the large canon sculpture and the new Central Souk.

Thanks for offering my services, by all means I would help you out Jonathan, however I am not back in the 'hood until the the end of the month. The bike shack will resume normal service after the 30th, and yes I am free, well almost!

Thanks for the feedback. I tightened the crank bolt today, hopefully this is the source of creaking. A service at Wolfies may not be a bad idea, but based on my initial purchase there (inner tube, pump and light) a service will probably require that I take out a small loan Smile.

I don't want to abuse the bike shack, but I wouldn't mind learning some more about how to service my bike myself, beyond the basics at least.
